Although he was expected to start for Algeria against Jordan, Mohamed Amoura will ultimately miss out.

According to reports from the Algerian press, Mohamed Amoura picked up a thigh injury during training last Saturday. His absence is expected to last two weeks.

As a result, the Algerian striker will miss the Fennecs' last two group stage matches. It's worth noting that Algeria is already up against the wall after an opening defeat to Argentina (0-3).
