2026 World Cup: Jordan vs Algeria, probable lineups
After a disappointing 0-3 defeat against Argentina in their opening match of the 2026 World Cup, Algeria will be looking to bounce back against Jordan in San Francisco in the early hours of Tuesday.
Vladimir Petkovic is expected to make two changes from the previous match, with Zerrouki and Mahrez likely to be in the starting lineup. Amoura was also tipped to start, but the forward has been ruled out due to a thigh injury. On the other side, Jordan could stick with the same eleven that started against Austria (1-3).
Probable lineups for both teams:
Jordan: Abulaila - Nasib, Al Arab, Abdualnadi - Haddad, Al Rashdan, Al Rawabdeh, Abu Taha - Al Fakhouri, Al Tamari, Olwan.
Algeria: Zidane - Belaid, Mandi, Bensebaini - Belghali, Boudaoui, Zerrouki, Aït Nouri - Mahrez, Gouiri, Maza.
