Al-Hilal renews its interest in Harry Kane
Reports from sources close to the player indicate that Al-Hilal has initiated formal talks with his representatives to bring him to Riyadh. While no official offer has been made yet, it appears that the interest in signing the England captain is genuine.
Harry Kane is wanted by Al-Hilal!
The English striker has only 12 months left on his contract with the German giants, and there will certainly be a lot of demand for his services in the remaining time of his contract, as is clear.
Despite external interest, sources maintain that Bayern Munich are still optimistic about retaining Harry Kane and have stepped up negotiations regarding a fresh deal. A three-year extension is presently being drafted, which would keep the striker at the club until June 2029—taking him nearly to his 36th birthday.
In a related development, TEAMtalk has learned exclusively that Kane’s brother and primary agent, Charlie Kane, held a meeting over the weekend with Simon Francis, Al-Hilal’s Technical Director of Football.
Francis is currently believed to be in England, where he is actively refining Al-Hilal’s list of striking targets with Kane occupying the foremost position on that shortlist.
These discussions are part of a broader offensive overhaul at the Saudi club, following their recent acquisition of Crysencio Summerville from West Ham United.
Al-Hilal are now pressing ahead with their recruitment strategy, which includes plans to bring in both an additional winger and a new centre-forward.
Al-Hilal has ambitions with several names, not just Harry Kane.
Al-Hilal have laid out their ambitious project to Kane's representatives and are understood to be ready to put forward one of the most lucrative proposals ever tabled by a Saudi Pro League club for a striker.
Nevertheless, despite the magnitude of the offer, sources indicate that a deal for Kane is considered unlikely to materialise at this point.
The Saudi outfit are also bracing for further shifts within their attacking department. Karim Benzema could potentially depart, while a loan move that would send Darwin Núñez to Trabzonspor—where he would link up again with former Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah—is nearing completion.
As such, Kane remains their primary target, though Al-Hilal have already drawn up contingency options should they fail to secure his signature.
