Arsenal enquires about Yan Diomandé
Arsenal is showing interest in Yan Diomandé. According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the Gunners have made an initial approach to gather information about the RB Leipzig winger's situation. At this stage, however, there has been no official offer—it's simply an exploratory move.
After a standout 2025-2026 Bundesliga campaign, the 19-year-old made a big impression with 12 goals and 8 assists across 33 appearances for Leipzig. He also confirmed his potential with Ivory Coast at the 2026 World Cup, further boosting his stock on the transfer market.
PSG in pole position, Leipzig still hopeful
Despite Arsenal's interest, Paris Saint-Germain is emerging as the clear front-runner to sign the talented winger. Talks between the Parisian club and the player are reportedly well advanced, with a five-year contract already agreed upon by both parties.
Meanwhile, RB Leipzig has not given up hope of holding onto their young star. The German club hopes to extend Diomandé's contract or, at the very least, persuade him to stay for one more season before considering a move away.
Crowned Premier League champions last season, Arsenal continues its ambitious transfer window following the arrivals of Christos Tzolis, Piero Hincapié, and Illan Meslier. The London club's management is exploring several attacking options, but will have to contend with Yan Diomandé's current preference for a move to PSG.
