Just hours before the semi-final against Arsenal, Atlético de Madrid has reportedly filed a complaint with UEFA following incidents that occurred on the night before the match.

The semi-final between Arsenal and Atlético de Madrid kicked off well before the official start. After losing 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium, Diego Simeone’s men endured a turbulent build-up in London.

According to The Athletic, several Gunners supporters disrupted the Madrid squad’s night by setting off fireworks near Atlético’s hotel after 1 a.m., waking the players twice.

The Spanish club reportedly contacted UEFA immediately with an official complaint. However, since the incidents took place outside the stadium, disciplinary action appears unlikely.
