Cagliari Complete Last-Minute Move for M’Bala Nzola
Cagliari have secured their last-minute attacking reinforcement. The Sardinian club have completed the signing of M’Bala Nzola, who joins the Rossoblu on loan from Fiorentina.
The Angolan striker became a priority target for Cagliari in the final hours of the transfer window. The Sardinian club wanted to provide manager Fabio Pisacane with another attacking option and accelerated talks with Fiorentina.
According to the latest reports, the agreement was reached shortly after 6:30 p.m., following a late push in the final hours of the transfer window.
Nzola will therefore continue his season with Cagliari, aiming to get more playing time and add greater physical presence to Pisacane’s attack.

After joining Fiorentina in 2023-2024, where he scored three Serie A goals, the Angola international spent time on loan at Lens, before moving to Pisa and Sassuolo. During the 2025-2026 season, he scored three goals for Pisa and one for Sassuolo in Serie A.
For Angola, Nzola has earned 15 caps and scored three goals.
Cagliari are now counting on his experience and his profile as a No. 9 to add more strength to their attack.
