Real Madrid: Aston Villa want Endrick on loan
Endrick could once again be loaned out by Real Madrid in January. After a first half of the season marked by very limited playing time, the Brazilian striker is considering his options to continue his development away from the Santiago Bernabéu.
A complicated situation with Mourinho
The 20-year-old striker had nevertheless chosen to stay in Madrid this summer in an attempt to earn his place in José Mourinho’s squad. But the start of the season has not allowed him to change the situation. According to Cadena SER, Endrick understood after a discussion with his coach before the start of the season that his role would be limited. Since then, the strong competition in attack has pushed him even further down the pecking order in Madrid.
The Brazilian has so far made just one appearance this season, playing a few minutes against Elche. The situation is now prompting him to seriously consider another loan move.
Aston Villa take the lead
Several clubs have already shown interest in Endrick. Roma, who tried to sign him during the summer, remain among the interested parties. Olympique Lyonnais, where the Brazilian was loaned last season, are also reportedly interested in bringing him back. But according to Cadena SER, Aston Villa are currently the option gaining the most momentum.
The club managed by Unai Emery could offer the Real Madrid player, who is under contract until June 30, 2030, a six-month loan, giving him the possibility of enjoying more playing time and gaining experience in the Premier League. The prospect of playing in the Champions League could also factor into the Brazilian’s thinking if Aston Villa remain well placed in the race to qualify.
