Yesterday, Real Madrid dropped three points against Mallorca in La Liga (2-1). Kylian Mbappé was not spared from criticism.

It’s another poor away performance for Real Madrid. Álvaro Arbeloa’s tactical decisions came under heavy fire. An ineffective Mbappé also cast doubts over the Merengue squad this April. AS columnist Tomas Roncero didn’t hold back on Madrid’s stars.

“I often forgive Mbappé’s flaws because he saves us in so many matches, but on days like today, I don’t see him fighting back. I don’t hear him say ‘I’m here,’ like Cristiano used to. This whole ‘quality’ thing is starting to annoy me. I don’t know if I need that much quality. What I want are winners, and Real needs winners. They need to change half the squad, believe me,” he confided.

He added another scathing comment about the players: “We have good individuals, but not players who smash their locker when they return to the dressing room. These guys just sit on their phones, wondering if Atlético will win tonight.”
