Spain: Iñaki Williams' message to Nico

Two days after Spain's triumph at the 2026 World Cup, Iñaki Williams sent a moving message to his brother Nico.

The Ghanaian international shared a heartfelt message with his blood brother following La Roja's coronation.

"My brother, you’ve won the World Cup. You’ve made history. But beyond the trophy, thank you for this: you made millions of immigrants like our parents proud, showing them that their children could one day experience what you just did. You’ve also allowed millions of Spaniards to learn our story. It’s not just ours, but that of all those who leave everything behind in search of a better future. You’ve touched the sky and proven that with hard work and effort, anything is possible. Today, the whole world knows who you are, and you’ve carried our family name to infinity, for generations to come. I admire you. I love you. World champion.", wrote Iñaki Williams.
