Tottenham Hotspur are preparing to part ways with Yves Bissouma when his contract expires next June, with the midfielder expected to depart on a free transfer. The 29-year-old Mali international has seen his role diminish at the north London club, a reduction in playing time that had already signaled a likely departure.
According to Teamtalk, Spurs have decided against extending Bissouma's stay—the option to trigger an additional year in his contract, which runs until the summer of 2026, will not be exercised. His representatives are reportedly already in discussions with potential suitors as the summer window approaches.
Bissouma originally arrived at Tottenham in 2022, but after three seasons, his time in England appears to be drawing to a close. A return to France's Ligue 1 is now a distinct possibility, with Marseille and Nice both mentioned as interested parties. Beyond Europe, clubs from Saudi Arabia's Pro League and Major League Soccer in the United States are also said to be tracking the situation closely.
