The Togo national team began their training camp this Monday, September 21, in Lomé to prepare for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

This first day is devoted to medical work and gym sessions before a first closed-door training session scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on the pitch at Kégué Stadium under the direction of Patrice Neveu.

A squad under construction

An initial group of twelve players has already joined the base camp, including Steven Mensah, Dermane Karim, Yaw Annor and Gustave Akueson. The called-up squad is expected to grow progressively over the coming hours in order to be complete for the final tactical adjustments.

Two fixtures to get started

The Hawks will begin their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign at home against Burundi on Friday, September 25, at 4:00 p.m. in Kégué, before flying to Ndola, where they will face Zambia's Chipolopolo on Monday, September 29.
