Nicolò Tresoldi is taking his career to another level. After scoring a hat-trick in Club Bruges’ spectacular 4-3 victory over Inter Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday, the 22-year-old striker is now attracting the attention of several major European clubs.

A resounding hat-trick at San Siro

Tresoldi made his mark at the Giuseppe-Meazza by scoring his team’s first three goals. He initially converted a penalty before capitalising on a defensive error and then completing his hat-trick in the second half. This performance enabled Club Bruges to secure a prestigious victory over Inter.

It also confirms the progress of the centre-forward, who had already impressed during the previous season. According to the figures, the player finished the last campaign with 23 goals and nine assists. His start to the season is allowing him to continue in the same vein.

Arsenal, Bayern and Atlético monitoring the situation

According to Nicolò Schira, several top clubs are now interested in the German striker of Italian origin. Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Atlético de Madrid are reportedly monitoring his situation with a potential transfer next summer in mind. FC Barcelona and Tottenham had also expressed interest during the previous transfer window, but Bruges had refused to let their player leave.

Tresoldi also makes no secret of his attachment to AC Milan, the club he supports. His hat-trick against their city rivals Inter gave his evening an extra dimension, although no agreement with the Rossoneri has been announced.

Our analysis

The hat-trick against Inter represents an exceptional showcase for Tresoldi, but his future will also depend on his ability to maintain his performances over time. At 22, he still has room for improvement and could appeal to clubs looking for a centre-forward capable of making an impact in major competitions.

Bruges, for its part, is in a strong position thanks to the player’s contract and the growing interest he is generating. His valuation could rise if his performances continue, but no transfer fee or advanced negotiations have been confirmed at this stage.
