Ilay Camara

Ilay Camara leaves Standard Liège this Saturday, July 5, 2025, and officially completes his return to RSC Anderlecht, the club where he was developed. The Senegalese right-back has signed with the Mauves and Whites until 2030.

Trained at Anderlecht and then loaned out to the reserves, Ilay Camara joined RWDM in 2023 before being loaned to Standard last season. During his loan spell, his impressive performances convinced the Liège management to activate the purchase option in April 2025. Ultimately, Anderlecht paid around €4.5 million plus 7.5% on a future transfer to bring the Senegalese player back.

"I've made huge progress since I left. I've become faster, more technical, and I understand the game much better. These two years at the highest level have helped me tremendously," Ilay Camara stated during his presentation.
