Real Madrid: Vinicius out against Bilbao, Arbeloa explains

Speaking to the press this Friday, Alvaro Arbeloa confirmed that Vinicius Jr will miss Real Madrid’s final match of the season this weekend against Bilbao.

Spanish media have reported that Vinicius Jr will not take part in Real Madrid’s game against Bilbao tomorrow. The Brazilian has even been given permission by Los Blancos. OK Diario clarified that he requested a few days’ rest before gearing up for the 2026 World Cup.

The Brazilian felt some discomfort after the Sevilla match, and the club has now allowed him to rest ahead of the World Cup.

During Friday’s press conference, Alvaro Arbeloa addressed the situation. “He has been given permission by the club for a personal matter, and we don’t know if he’ll be able to play tomorrow.” explained the Spanish coach.
