Diego Simeone publicly lashed out at the referee following Atlético Madrid’s clash with FC Barcelona (1-2) on Saturday night.

Yesterday, Atlético Madrid suffered a home defeat to FC Barcelona (1-2) in La Liga. But among the Colchoneros, one refereeing decision is still causing a stir. Early in the second half, versatile Blaugrana defender Gerard Martin was initially sent off for a foul on Thiago Almada, but VAR intervened and downgraded the red card to a yellow. Diego Simeone was left baffled by this call.
