Mohamed Salah steals the show in Süper Lig Team of the Week

Trabzonspor forward Mohamed Salah has been named in the Sofascore Team of the Week for Matchday 6 of the Turkish Süper Lig, receiving a perfect 10/10 rating for his display against Galatasaray.

A flawless derby performance

The Egyptian international secured the highest possible match rating after leading Trabzonspor to a commanding 4-0 victory over their Istanbul rivals.

Salah was directly involved in every goal during the fixture, scoring a hat-trick and providing one assist.

This decisive attacking output firmly established him as the standout player of the matchweek across the Turkish top flight.

Fenerbahçe dominate the best XI

While Salah spearheaded the attacking midfield selections, Fenerbahçe contributed the most players to the Matchday 6 ideal lineup.

The Istanbul club saw five players recognized for their performances, including Nathan Aké in defense alongside Mason Greenwood, İrfan Can Kahveci, Oğuz Aydın and Vedat Muriqi in the attacking positions.

The remainder of the team featured goalkeeper Fofana (Rizespor), defenders Arda Kızıldağ (Gaziantep) and Emin Bayram (Başakşehir), midfielder Berkan Kutlu (Kocaelispor) and forward Eldor Shomurodov (Başakşehir).

Following the conclusion of Matchday 6, domestic football will pause for the first international break of the season which runs from 21 September until 6 October.

Salah and his club teammates will use the interval to recover before attempting to carry their dominant derby momentum into the next block of fixtures when the Süper Lig resumes in early October.
